Commission Pet Portraits
Celebrate your furry/feathery friend with a custom hand-drawn pet portrait! Meticulously crafted in a realistic style using high-quality charcoal and graphite on hot-pressed watercolor paper, each portrait is a heartfelt tribute to your beloved pet's unique personality and charm. WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE:
You'll receive a hand-drawn charcoal/graphite (I often use both) drawing on high-quality hot-pressed, 140-lb watercolor paper, sealed with an archival crystal clear coating. Upon request, I will send you a high-quality file of your finished drawing at no extra cost, should you like to have prints made on your own.
HOW TO ORDER
1. Add the desired portrait size to your cart. After making your payment, you will receive a confirmation email containing a PDF attachment titled "Guide to Taking Good Reference Photos of Your Pet". In this quick guide, I give you a few, simple pointers on what are the most important aspects of a good reference photo for a portrait and how to take it. However, if you already have a photo, please disregard that guide. Please reply to the email and send me a photo (or as many as you'd like) of your pet.
2. Upon completing the outline, I will send you an image for your revision. This is the stage where I can make the most adjustments.
3. Once I complete the drawing, I will send you another preview. At this stage, I can only make minor adjustments. Once you approve it, I will ship the drawing to you.
TIMELINE
- I will send you the initial preview no later than one week after you place your order and the nearly completed drawing for your final approval no later than two weeks later.
Overall, please allow two to three weeks to complete and ship your drawing. However, you may receive it much sooner. If you have a special event or a shorter time frame, please message me, and we can discuss expediting your drawing (additional fees and shipping costs may apply).
